Shane Williams and the Grove Falcons were hosted by the Landmark Warriors on 01-23-12.  The Falcons were ready for this game from the tip off.  The Falcons clawed the feathers out of the Warriors head dress and went on to win the contest.  Shane scored 41 points, had 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 5 steals in the game.  He also had 10/11 free throws or 90.9%, 3/9 3-pointers or 33.3%, and 14/32 field goals or 43.8%.

Shane and the Grove Falcons traveled to Victory Christian on Friday, January 20, 2012.  The Falcons got off to a good start and gave the Knights of Victory all that they could handle thru the first three quarters of the game.  The Falcons came up just three points less than the Knights at the final buzzer.  Shane Williams continued to demonstrate his basketball talent and had an outstanding game scoring 27 points, pulling down 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals.

Shane hits one of four 3-pointers in game v West End

Shane and the Grove Falcons were host to the West End Crusaders on Thursday, 01-12-12.  Grove moved forward with an early lead and never looked back as they beat the Crusaders from West End.  Shane began the game with 13 points in the first quarter and he never looked back until the game ended and he had scored a career high of 46 points.  He displayed excellent ball handling skills, superior shooting, and had many assists in the game.  Shane had 15 rebounds, 6 assists, and 1 steal in this game.  He shot 4/7 3-pointers for 57.1%.  He had 18/35 field goals for 51.4%.

Shane now has an average of 32.1 points per game thru 12 games this season.

Shane hits Technical foul shots

The Grove Falcons traveled to play the Evangel Eagles on Tuesday night, 1-10-12.  Shane and his Grove Falcons clawed hard at the Eagles but came up short of a win at the end of the game. Shane continues to dazzle the opponents with his ball handling and shooting skills. Shane scored 27 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, had 3 steals, and 4 assists.

Shane Scores Two Points

Grove traveled to Elijah House on 01-06-12 to pluck some Eagle Feathers.  This was a hard fought contest with Grove losing in the closing minutes of the game.  Shane exhibited his ball handling abilities, shooting skills, and excellent play making to once again lead his team.  Grove's next opponent will be Evangel on Tuesday.

Shane scored 31 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, had 2 assists, and 3 steals.

Shane has a 31.1 points per game average thru his first 10 regular season games.

On Thursday, 01-05-12 Grove traveled to West End located in Hopewell.  Shane and the Grove Falcon Team fought hard but was not able to pull out a win.  Shane continues to lead the team with another outstanding game scoring 33 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 assists.
